Social work is both stimulating and challenging because every individual is a unique puzzle. Each person’s story is like a new mystery novel, filled with twists, turns, and, of course, opportunities for growth. When it comes to therapeutic techniques, there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach.
Therapy often becomes a journey of self-exploration for the client. It’s like guiding someone on a treasure hunt—except, plot twist: the treasure is their own self-awareness and understanding. The client may not always see it at first, but I believe they already have the answers within them. My job? Helping them dig through the dirt and uncover those golden insights, while helping them develop and use their own resources to face challenges head-on.
This client-centered approach lets me do what I’ve always dreamed of—helping people in a way that truly makes a difference. Social work isn’t just a job; it’s an extension of human life. Even when others doubt change is possible, my passion only grows stronger, ready to prove that the impossible is simply a challenge waiting to be conquered.
Hello! I am MacKenzie Fricke.
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker, certified to provide clinical therapy, counseling, and mental health services both in-person and virtually. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of offering therapeutic services in a variety of settings, including the correctional system, residential homes for children and adolescents, inpatient hospitals for both adults and children, and community mental health and outpatient services. Each experience has helped me grow and adapt my approach to best meet the unique needs of the individuals I serve.
At World Inside Therapy, I provide compassionate counseling services designed to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re facing life’s challenges or navigating personal growth, I’m here to support you in a safe, welcoming environment.
I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children, offering personalized care to help you find your path forward.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). At times, I also incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. I consider myself an education-based therapist, meaning I’m committed to explaining the "why" behind the methods I choose and the exercises we work on together. My goal is for you to feel confident using the skills we practice in session, not just during our time together, but in your everyday life as well.
